Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage end\-to\-end logistics operations, ensuring timely pickups, deliveries, fleet utilization, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in transportation, freight, supply chain, team management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day\-to\-day logistics and transportation operations across assigned regions.

Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments while maintaining service quality.

Monitor FTL, PTL, and express logistics operations to achieve operational targets.

Coordinate with customers, transporters, branch teams, warehouses, and vendors.

Optimize vehicle utilization, routing, and trip planning to reduce operational costs.

Monitor shipment movement and resolve delays, exceptions, and escalations.

Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance requirements, and safety regulations.

Lead and manage operations teams, supervisors, coordinators, and support staff.

Track operational KPIs such as TAT, on\-time delivery, vehicle utilization, cost per shipment, and customer complaints.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Billing, and Finance teams for smooth execution.

Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Manage transporter performance, vendor relationships, and cost negotiations.

Handle customer escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

5–8\+ years of experience in logistics or transportation operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of FTL, PTL, surface transportation, route planning, fleet management, and supply chain operations.

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/TMS software, and MIS reporting.
