• *About the role**

We’re hiring an Operations Manager to run project execution end to end for our wallpaper and wall décor projects across homes, schools and offices. You’ll take over each confirmed project from the Project Manager, deliver it measured, installed and signed off, and hand it back with nothing left open.

You’ll lead a team of Off\-Site and Onsite Operations Executives, an Installation Partner Executive, and In\-House Installation Executives. You own how execution happens: scheduling, vendor and crew management, quality and training. Commercial terms, design content and the client relationship stay with Sales and the Project Manager.

• *What you’ll do**

• **Take over projects:** Review each handover from the Project Manager and accept or reject it the same working day. Send back anything with missing scope or timelines.
• **Oversee site measurement:** Schedule site visits within 24\-48 hours of takeover. Verify that data packs are complete and confirmed on site, and sign them off as design\-ready before they reach the Designer.
• **Manage installation partners:** Maintain the approved list of partner crews, set the quality standard, review performance monthly and decide who gets more work, who needs correction and who comes off the list. Approve new crews within 3 working days and resolve partner disputes.
• **Train the in\-house crew:** Build the skill checklist and certify In\-House Installation Executives. Run onboarding and refresher training, and use defect patterns to shape the next session, so our own team can take on any job a partner could.
• **Run day\-to\-day operations:** Check in on every active project daily. Fix scheduling clashes, missing tools and resourcing gaps before they become delays, and log recurring issues so you can fix their causes.
• **Escalate and hand back:** Raise client\-visible risks with the Project Manager the same day. Hand completed projects back within 1 working day of sign\-off, with photo and video evidence and no open defects or vendor issues.

• *What you’ll be measured on**

• 90%\+ on\-time installation (partner and in\-house combined)
• 85%\+ of minor issues resolved without escalation
• 95%\+ of handovers accepted without being sent back
• 0\-1 design errors per month traced to unverified data
• 100% of the in\-house team certified and current
• Defect and rework rates on partner jobs at or below company average

• *Who you are**
• Must\-have*

• Graduate in any discipline (a degree or diploma in operations, civil engineering, interior design or management is a plus)
• 5\-8 years in operations, project execution, site management or installation management (confirm)
• Good overseas installation onsite and pan India and has data for labors
• 2\+ years managing a team, including field or site staff
• Hands\-on experience managing third\-party vendors or contractor crews: onboarding, quality control, performance reviews and disputes
• Experience training and certifying technicians or installers
• Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel trackers and an ERP or project management tool
• Willing to travel to client sites regularly within the city (confirm)
• Fluent in Hindi and English (a regional language is a plus)

• Good\-to\-have*

• Background in interiors, wallpaper, paint, flooring, modular furniture or fit\-out execution
• Working knowledge of wall surface preparation, measurement and installation techniques
• Experience building SOPs, checklists and skill matrices
• Exposure to commercial (schools, offices) as well as residential projects

Quality\-first, someone who won’t sign off unverified data or an open defect to save time. You take ownership of small issues until they’re fixed, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy teaching. You’re firm but fair with vendors, and you fix the cause when an issue repeats.

• *Not part of this role**

Setting prices or negotiating client terms, deciding design scope, owning client commitments, and final payment collection and closure.

• *What success looks like**

• *First 30 days:* You know every active project, the approved partner list and each installer’s skill level. Daily check\-ins and the minor\-issues log are running.
• *By 60 days:* Partner profiles and the quality standard are documented, the first monthly review is done, and the in\-house skill checklist is in place.
• *By 90 days:* You’re hitting all KPI targets, and recurring issues are trending down.
