Operations Manager

• *Job Summary**

AVM Labs is looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Operations Manager to oversee Last Mile Executive (LME) operations, manage field teams, and ensure the timely and safe transportation of diagnostic samples from hospitals, clinics, and collection centres to laboratories.

The ideal candidate should have strong team management, route planning, operational coordination, and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to monitor team performance and maintain service quality.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Manage and supervise a team of Last Mile Executives (LMEs) across assigned locations and routes.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily sample pickup and delivery routes to ensure timely operations.
• Ensure compliance with sample handling procedures and cold\-chain temperature requirements of 2°C–8°C.
• Monitor turnaround time (TAT), on\-time pickups, attendance, productivity, and service quality.
• Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, collection centres, laboratory teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Track daily operational performance and take corrective action to address delays or service issues.
• Handle escalations, client complaints, and operational challenges effectively.
• Ensure proper staffing, route coverage, backup arrangements, and timely leave coordination.
• Conduct regular team briefings and provide guidance to improve employee performance and discipline.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, uniform standards, ID\-card requirements, and field conduct.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and share performance updates with management.
• Identify opportunities to improve route efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and operational quality standards.

• *Required Qualifications and Skills**

• **\*\*\*\*Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.\*\*\*\***
• **3–5 years of experience** in logistics, transportation, field operations, or last\-mile delivery management.
• Proven experience in team management, field staff supervision, and operational coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of route planning, delivery tracking, and operational performance monitoring.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, and escalations effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and operational reporting tools.
• Strong problem\-solving, decision\-making, and time\-management skills.

Pay: ₹60,000\.00 \- ₹80,000\.00 per month
