Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, articulate, and strategic **Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR)** to spearhead our expansion into the US and UK markets. This is not a "high\-volume spam" role. You will focus on hyper\-personalized, high\-intent outbound prospecting via LinkedIn and email to initiate conversations with senior tech executives and schedule qualified architecture reviews for our principal consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- **Targeted Prospecting \& List Building:** Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.io to identify, filter, and map out ideal customer profiles (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, DevOps Directors) within US/UK mid\-market tech companies.
- **Multi\-Channel Outbound Outreach:** Execute a highly personalized multi\-touch outreach sequence (30–40 custom touches per day) using a combination of LinkedIn connections, value\-first messaging, and tailored emails.
- **Conversation \& Relationship Management:** Manage your outreach inbox daily. Engage prospects in authentic, non\-spammy business conversations by offering high\-value resources (checklists, case studies) rather than aggressive pitching.
- **Video Outreach Pitching:** Utilize Loom to record quick, 60\-second screen\-share video pitches to visually demonstrate quick cloud optimization wins to prospective clients.
- **Meeting Scheduling \& Qualification:** Convert warm conversations into scheduled introductory meetings. Secure calendar bookings for our Principal Consultant, ensuring meetings map seamlessly into US/UK time zones (primarily alignment with Eastern Standard Time and Greenwich Mean Time).
- **CRM \& Tool Maintenance:** Keep contact data, conversation histories, and appointment bookings meticulously updated within our outbound tool stack (Apollo.io/LinkedIn).
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- **Experience:** 1–3 years of experience as an SDR, Inside Sales Rep, or Business Development Representative (BDR), specifically selling B2B IT services, SaaS, Cloud, or DevOps consulting to Western markets (US/UK).
- **Market Nuance:** A strong grasp of Western business etiquette. You understand that "less is more" and know how to communicate concisely and professionally with busy C\-level tech executives.
- **Technical Literacy:** You don't need to be a cloud engineer, but you must comfortably understand basic industry terminology (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloud Migration, DevOps, Kubernetes, Cloud Cost Optimization) to confidently speak to engineering pain points.
- **Tool Stack Proficiency:** Hands\-on experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io (or similar email automation platforms), and video tools like Loom.
- **Communication Skills:** Exceptional written and spoken English. You can craft compelling, error\-free written messages that stand out in a crowded inbox.
- **Shift Flexibility:** Ability to work hours aligned with the US morning/afternoon (typically mid\-afternoon to late evening IST) to maximize real\-time engagement with prospects.
