P3 – Avionics Engineer

• *We are looking for an \*Avionics Engineer\* to work on the architecture, integration, testing and validation of electronic systems for advanced UAV platforms.**

• *Experience:** 1–3 Years

• *Qualification:** B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or a related discipline.

The role will focus on developing and integrating reliable avionics systems covering flight control, navigation, sensing, communication, telemetry and onboard electronics.

• **Key Responsibilities**

\- Develop and integrate complete UAV avionics architecture.

\- Integrate flight controllers, autopilots, sensors, GNSS, IMUs, air\-data sensors and communication systems.

\- Work with Pixhawk\-class flight controllers and similar autopilot platforms.

\- Configure and tune PX4 / ArduPilot based systems.

\- Integrate actuators, servos, ESCs, motors and propulsion\-control interfaces.

\- Develop and validate sensor interfaces using CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet and other communication protocols.

\- Integrate GNSS, RTK\-GNSS, magnetometers, barometers, radar altimeters and other navigation sensors.

\- Support inertial\-navigation and multi\-sensor fusion systems.

\- Develop telemetry and command\-and\-control communication architecture.

\- Integrate radio, RF, LTE/5G, mesh\-network and long\-range telemetry systems where applicable.

\- Develop wiring harnesses, power\-distribution architecture and electrical interface documentation.

\- Perform power\-budget calculations and electrical load analysis.

\- Integrate onboard computers, companion computers and edge\-AI systems.

\- Support camera, EO/IR, payload and mission\-computer integration.

\- Develop embedded software and hardware interfaces where required.

\- Configure and validate failsafe, redundancy and health\-monitoring systems.

\- Support autonomous flight modes and mission\-planning systems.

\- Analyse flight logs and diagnose sensor, communication and control\-system faults.

\- Conduct hardware\-in\-the\-loop and software\-in\-the\-loop testing.

\- Participate in ground testing, taxi testing, tether testing and flight trials.

\- Prepare wiring diagrams, interface\-control documents, test procedures and technical reports.

• **Preferred Experience**

Candidates with experience in \*UAV teams, robotics, autonomous systems, avionics integration, Formula Student electronics, embedded systems, RC aircraft, flight\-controller development, telemetry systems or flight testing\* will be preferred.
