Partnership and Community Lead

At Toprankers, we’re on a mission to transform career preparation for students exploring opportunities beyond traditional medical and engineering paths. With 2L\+ students trained, 34 centres across India, and a rapidly growing EdTech ecosystem, we’re expanding our technology team and looking for a hands\-on Tech Lead who loves building scalable systems and driving engineering excellence.

• *What you’ll actually do**

1\. Build India’s first real career\-counsellor community. We’ve already onboarded our first counsellors and schools — your job is turning that start into something that compounds. Not a mailing list, but a network that meets, shares, argues about what’s working, and thinks of TopRankers first when a student says, “I think I want to do law.”Run the things that make a community real: monthly meetups, webinars, a newsletter for people, an annual gathering worth flying in for.

2\. Building the TopRankers School \& College engagement playbook: Take TopRankers into schools via Career\-awareness seminars, bootcamps on law and competitive exams, a student ambassador network and more. Dream beyond counsellors, schools and PU colleges: Education influencers build audiences on YouTube and Instagram. Anyone with genuine reach into a student’s decision. If it’s a partnership that puts a career option in front of a kid who didn’t know it existed, it’s yours to chase.

• *Straight talk about targets.**

This is a partnerships role, not a sales role. You’re building relationships that take months to pay off, and you’ll get the room to do that properly — nobody here expects a counsellor's relationship to convert in a week. It does carry targets. We’re investing in this channel because we believe counsellors, schools and creators are how the right students find the right career, and we’ll measure whether that’s actually happening. If you’d rather be judged on outcomes than on activity, you’ll be at home here.

• *Who this is for**

You’ll need 3\+ years of work experience. Past that, we care far less about your CV than about whether you can start something from nothing.

— Gets energy from meeting people, and remembers what they said three weeks later

— Can pick up the phone and cold call without rehearsing for twenty minutes first

— Follow\-up. Then follows up again. Then a fourth time, without it being weird

— Thinks from first principles, tries things, kills what doesn’t work, and doesn’t need a playbook handed to them

— Cares about what happens to a 17\-year\-old who picks the wrong path by accident

• *Any background works**

— partnerships, BD, counselling, community, edtech, sales, or something we haven’t thought of. Prior experience building a community or partner network is a strong plus.

Pay: ₹75,000\.00 \- ₹90,000\.00 per month
