PCB Designer

Position Summary

Innospace Automation Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail\-oriented PCB Designer to create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts for industrial electronics and embedded products. The role focuses on PCB layout, routing, design\-rule checks, fabrication outputs and coordination with hardware, production and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and maintain electronic schematics and PCB layouts based on hardware design requirements.

· Design PCB layouts for boards with appropriate layer counts, including 2\-layer and multilayer designs as required by the project.

· Perform component placement and PCB routing while considering manufacturability, EMI/EMC, signal integrity, thermal requirements and board constraints.

· Create and maintain component libraries, footprints and design files.

· Run design\-rule checks (DRC), review design constraints and resolve layout issues before release.

· Generate manufacturing and assembly outputs, including Gerber files, drill files, Pick \& Place files, BOMs, fabrication drawings and assembly drawings.

· Coordinate with hardware engineers to confirm footprints, connectors, component selection, mechanical constraints and design changes.

· Support prototype PCB fabrication, assembly, bring\-up and debugging by investigating layout\-related issues.

· Revise PCB designs based on testing feedback, design reviews and engineering change requests.

· Maintain accurate design documentation, revision history and release files.

· Support manufacturing teams with PCB\-related queries and ensure released files are complete and organized.

Required Skills

· Understanding of electronic components, schematic symbols, footprints and PCB design fundamentals.

· Hands\-on experience or academic project exposure to PCB design software; Altium Designer preferred, KiCad also acceptable.

· Understanding of component placement, routing, multilayer boards and design\-rule checks.

· Awareness of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, thermal considerations and design for manufacturing.

· Ability to prepare Gerber, drill, BOM and assembly\-related files.

· Attention to detail, organization, problem\-solving and teamwork.

Compensation

To be finalized based on experience, PCB design capability, technical assessment and the approved salary range.

Pay: ₹200,000\.00 \- ₹400,000\.00 per year
