- *Educational Qualification:**
Passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) / 10th Standard from a recognized Board.
OR
Equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.
- *Work Experience:**
Preference will be given to candidates having minimum one year of experience in office assistance, housekeeping support, messenger services, or general administrative support in Universities, Educational Institutions, Government Offices, Corporate Organizations, or other reputed establishments.
Fresh candidates fulfilling the prescribed educational qualification may also apply.
- *Job Description:**
The Peon shall provide general office assistance and support services for the smooth functioning of the School of Technology Management and Engineering, SVKM NMIMS Global University, Dhule, and shall perform duties assigned by the administrative and academic authorities in accordance with the University rules and procedures.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Carry files, official documents, letters, examination materials, and other correspondence between departments, offices, and University authorities.
- Assist in the movement, dispatch, and receipt of official files, records, notices, circulars, and confidential documents.
- Deliver official communications to faculty members, administrative offices, departments, students, and other University units.
- Assist in arranging meeting rooms, conference halls, classrooms, seminar halls, and offices for meetings, examinations, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other institutional activities.
- Provide assistance during admissions, examinations, convocations, placement drives, workshops, cultural programmes, and other University events.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderly arrangement of office furniture, equipment, files, and common office areas in coordination with housekeeping staff.
- Assist in photocopying, scanning, binding, filing, and sorting official documents as directed.
- Maintain movement of office stationery, records, and other materials between departments and administrative offices.
- Assist visitors, students, parents, faculty members, and officials by providing necessary guidance to the appropriate office or department.
- Support administrative staff in routine office work and perform messenger duties as assigned.
- Assist in loading, unloading, shifting, and arranging office equipment, furniture, examination materials, laboratory consumables, and other institutional property whenever required.
- Report any damage, maintenance issues, safety concerns, or security\-related matters observed within the School premises to the concerned authority.
- Ensure proper care and safe handling of University property, office records, and official documents entrusted to him/her.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, cleanliness, and professional conduct while performing assigned duties.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Dean, Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Heads of Departments, Administrative Officer, Office Superintendent, or any other Competent Authority in the interest of the School and the University.
