The Fragrance People is a fast\-growing D2C home fragrance brand built on strong design, high\-quality products, and performance\-driven growth. We’re scaling aggressively and are looking for a **hands\-on growth operator** to own paid marketing and website conversion.
This role reports **directly to the founder** and is for someone who wants **real ownership**, not just execution.
- *What You Will DoPerformance Marketing (Primary Responsibility)**
- Personally manage **Meta (Facebook \& Instagram) and Google Ads**
- Plan, launch, test, scale, and pause campaigns weekly
- Track and optimise ROAS, CPA, and creative performance
- Analyse data daily and take fast decisions
- Brief designers and content teams clearly with performance logic
- Kill underperforming creatives without delay
- Maintain a structured testing roadmap
- *Shopify Website \& Conversion Optimisation**
- Own website conversion rate improvement
- Optimise:
- Product pages
- Homepage and collection pages
- Trust elements (reviews, UGC, social proof)
- Analyse heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel drop\-offs
- Implement quick fixes independently
- Coordinate with external developers only when required
- Track performance daily
- Prepare clear weekly reports (no fluff, no vanity metrics)
- Identify problems and execute solutions
- Reduce founder dependency over time
- Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
- *What Success Looks Like**
- Ads scale in a controlled, predictable way
- Website conversion improves month\-on\-month
- Founder spends less time on daily growth execution
- 4–7 years experience in **D2C performance marketing**
- Hands\-on experience scaling **Shopify brands** (home / lifestyle / beauty preferred)
- Strong experience with:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads
- Shopify backend
- Data\-driven and execution\-focused
- Strong design sensitivity (you know what looks premium vs cheap)
