Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter and Dynatrace. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for web applications, APIs, and enterprise applications while collaborating with cross\-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability test scripts using Apache JMeter.

Analyze application performance metrics and identify bottlenecks using Dynatrace.

Monitor application, server, and database performance during test execution.

Prepare workload models, test strategies, test plans, and performance test reports.

Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.

Execute performance testing in CI/CD pipelines and support test automation initiatives.

Analyze JVM, CPU, memory, thread, garbage collection, and database performance metrics.

Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and recommend optimization strategies.

Validate system performance against defined SLAs and NFRs.

Prepare and present performance test findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

4–6 years of experience in Performance Testing.

Strong hands\-on experience with Apache JMeter.

Experience using Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and diagnostics.

Knowledge of performance testing methodologies including Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Volume Testing.

Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and web applications.

Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web servers, and application architecture.

Experience analyzing application logs and monitoring server health.

Familiarity with SQL and database performance analysis.

Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands.

Experience integrating JMeter with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Scripting knowledge in Groovy, Java, or BeanShell for JMeter customization.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift environments.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or AppDynamics.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Relevant certifications in Performance Testing or Dynatrace are an added advantage.
