PHP Developer — Shimla

We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our team in Shimla. You will build and maintain web applications and APIs, working closely with designers and front\-end developers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

• *Responsibilities**

• Develop web applications and RESTful APIs using PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
• Write clean, scalable, and well\-documented code following OOP and MVC principles
• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate front\-end elements with server\-side logic
• Design and manage MySQL database schemas and queries
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications
• Stay current with PHP best practices and industry trends

• *Requirements**

• 2–4 years of professional experience in PHP development
• Strong proficiency in at least one PHP framework: Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Solid understanding of object\-oriented PHP and MVC architecture
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
• Strong communication skills

• *Good to Have**

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
