PHP Developer

Wibits Web Solutions LLP is looking for a skilled and experienced **PHP Developer** to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and modern web development technologies, with the ability to develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic web applications.

The candidate will be responsible for developing server\-side logic, integrating front\-end components, building APIs, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dynamic web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well\-documented code.
• Develop and manage back\-end components and server\-side logic.
• Work with MySQL databases, including database design, queries, and optimization.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third\-party services.
• Work with front\-end technologies to ensure seamless application functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front\-end developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Maintain existing applications and implement new features based on project requirements.
• Use Git or other version control systems for code management.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong proficiency in **Core PHP and Object\-Oriented Programming (OOP)**.
• Hands\-on experience with PHP frameworks such as **Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar frameworks**.
• Strong knowledge of **MySQL** and database management.
• Good understanding of **HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery**.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of MVC architecture and web application development principles.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter framework.
• Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with React.js, Vue.js, or other front\-end technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Linux servers, hosting environments, and deployment.
• Experience with third\-party payment gateway integrations.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
