Plant Head

To lead the complete plant operations and ensure safe, efficient and profitable manufacturing. The Plant Head will be responsible for production, manpower, quality, maintenance, material utilization, cost control, delivery, safety, process discipline and continuous improvement.

• *Education** : Diploma/B.E. (Mechanical, Plastic, Production \& Industrial engineering)

• *Experience** : 3 to 7 years

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans as per customer orders and management targets.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining approved quality standards and process parameters.
• Plan manpower, shifts, machines, tools and resources to maximize productivity.
• Control rejection, rework, scrap and material wastage through root\-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Stores, Purchase, Sales, Dispatch, Maintenance and Product Development teams.
• Ensure raw materials and consumables are available as per production plan and approved stock norms.
• Monitor machine utilization, breakdowns and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions, process parameters and quality checkpoints are followed.
• Control production cost, overtime, labour productivity, power consumption and consumable usage.
• Ensure on\-time completion of production and coordination with dispatch for customer delivery commitments.
• Implement 5S, housekeeping, visual management, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure factory safety, PPE compliance, safe working practices and statutory requirements.
• Conduct daily production meetings and review achievement versus plan.
• Develop supervisors and operators through training, performance review and accountability.
• Investigate major production/quality issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Support new product trials, process development, tooling/mould trials and production scale\-up.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly plant performance reports to management.
