Plant Manager

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for a proactive and result\-oriented **Plant Manager** to oversee manufacturing operations at our Vasai facility. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, shop\-floor management experience, and the ability to lead production teams while ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Experience in a high\-SKU manufacturing environment and exposure to scrap reduction, employee engagement, and process improvement initiatives will be highly preferred.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Manage day\-to\-day plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Dispatch.
• Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Drive productivity improvement and scrap reduction initiatives.
• Handle production planning and execution in a high\-SKU manufacturing setup.
• Lead and motivate workers, supervisors, and engineers on the shop floor.
• Improve employee engagement, discipline, and team performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve machine efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and fire safety requirements.
• Monitor production, quality, and operational KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.

• *Candidate Profile**

✔ B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

✔ 5–6 years of manufacturing experience

✔ Experience in production and plant operations

✔ Strong technical and troubleshooting skills

✔ Experience handling workers and shop\-floor teams

✔ Knowledge of scrap management and productivity improvement

✔ High\-SKU manufacturing experience preferred

✔ Knowledge of Fire Safety and Industrial Safety practices

✔ Foam Industry experience preferred
