Job Summary

We are looking for a **Platform Engineer II – Cloud Ecosystems** to design, build, and operate highly scalable cloud platforms that enable engineering teams to deploy and manage applications efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Linux administration. You will work on cloud\-native platforms, automation, observability, and operational excellence while collaborating with global engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable cloud platforms and developer self\-service capabilities.
  • Build automation solutions that simplify software deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and platform operations.
  • Develop platform components using programming languages such as **Python, Java, Go, Ruby, or Perl**.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Build and maintain cloud\-native solutions on AWS.
  • Develop and support microservices\-based platform architecture.
  • Monitor platform health using observability tools and proactively improve system reliability and availability.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident troubleshooting.
  • Implement disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and platform resilience strategies.
  • Automate security controls and integrate security best practices into engineering workflows.
  • Participate in on\-call support and incident management.
  • Collaborate with developers, SREs, architects, and cross\-functional teams to improve platform capabilities.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills

  • 5–8 years of experience in **Platform Engineering**, **Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)**, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong programming experience in **Python** (mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of **Java**.
  • Experience with **Microservices Architecture**.
  • Strong experience with **AWS Cloud**, including **AWS S3**.
  • Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** tools.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with automation and platform engineering best practices.
  • Understanding of Service Level Objectives (SLOs), SLAs, and system reliability.
