About the Role
We are looking for an experienced **Platform Engineer II – Cloud Ecosystems** to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will design, build, and operate highly scalable cloud platforms that enable engineering teams to deploy and manage applications efficiently.
If you have a strong background in **Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AWS Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python, Linux, and cloud automation**, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud platforms and developer self\-service capabilities.
- Build automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, software deployment, and platform operations.
- Develop platform components using **Python** and **Java**.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated infrastructure management.
- Build and support cloud\-native solutions on **AWS**.
- Develop and maintain microservices\-based platform architecture.
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
- Integrate security best practices into platform engineering workflows.
- Participate in on\-call support and incident management.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, SREs, and cross\-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in **Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering**
- Strong programming experience in **Python** (Mandatory)
- Good working knowledge of **Java**
- Hands\-on experience with **AWS Cloud**, including **AWS S3**
- Experience with **Microservices Architecture**
- Strong knowledge of **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** tools
- Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems
- Experience with automation and platform engineering best practices
- Knowledge of **SLOs, SLAs, and system reliability concepts**
Preferred Skills
- Kubernetes and Docker
- Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, or Graphite
- Go, Ruby, or Perl
- Security Engineering / Cybersecurity
- Networking and Storage concepts
- Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning
