- *Global Tax and Legal Operate PMO**
- *Project Management Professional – Specialist Assistant Manager**
Become an integral member of the Global Tax \& Legal Operate core team by driving day\-to\-day PMO operations, managing team deliverables, and supporting the effective execution of strategic programs and business priorities. This role requires strong operational oversight, stakeholder coordination, people management, and the application of sound project management methodologies to enable smooth and efficient operations.
The Assistant Manager will act as the central owner of key PMO workstreams and will be accountable for delivery quality, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, process improvement, and oversight of junior team members. The selected candidate will be expected to take full ownership of assigned workstreams from planning through final output, while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and leadership expectations are consistently met.
- *What you’ll do**
Support the Global Tax \& Legal Operate core team with a variety of program management responsibilities, including PMO operations, governance, leadership reporting, workstream coordination, and operational improvement.
- *Key responsibilities include:**
- § Understand the overall Operate business model (AIO) and align with Global Tax \& Legal strategy and goals.
- § Maintain oversight of day\-to\-day PMO operations and ensure consistent execution of core activities across ongoing programs and initiatives.
- § Drive alignment across workstreams by coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery against project plans and operational priorities.
- § Apply and reinforce agreed project management methodologies, governance standards, and operating procedures to support smooth execution.
- § Manage the setup, planning, tracking, and follow\-through for key Operate meetings, governance forums, and action items.
- § Review, consolidate, and communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and decisions for leadership and stakeholder audiences.
- § Oversee the collection and analysis of program management data to support reporting, planning, and decision\-making.
- § Support tracking and analysis of pipeline data and related activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- § Monitor Jupiter and related local CRM systems to maintain Operate pipeline data hygiene and reporting quality.
- § Support the preparation of reports and insights for DTTL and Global Tax \& Legal leadership related to Operate business performance and sales engine activities.
- § Contribute to the planning and follow\-on actions for the Operate deal desk and global DRB activities.
- § Support analysis and reporting required for the Operate budget and member firm chargeback program.
- § Maintain and enhance PMO documentation, templates, trackers, SOPs, and repository content to improve team efficiency and continuity.
- § Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce duplication, and improve operational effectiveness through structured process improvement approaches.
- § Manage one or more operational activities within the team and ensure deliverables meet quality, timeliness, and stakeholder expectations.
- § Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members; provide guidance, feedback, and support for their development.
- § Coordinate task allocation, monitor progress, and help resolve delivery issues or bottlenecks across the team.
- § Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
- *Full workstream ownership responsibilities**
- § Own the end\-to\-end newsletter publication support, including outreach planning, subscriber list maintenance, template standardization, content collection, content updates, editorial review, formatting, review\-call coordination, testing, and publication.
- § Own the end\-to\-end progress report process, including templates, reminders, delegate coordination, content consolidation, executive summary drafting, review management, and final publication.
- § Own the end\-to\-end accomplishments reporting process, including the drafting, design, review, and publication of fiscal year\-end business accomplishments and other recurring accomplishment updates.
- § Own the governance and accuracy of funding management artifacts, including the TL Operate Funding Tracker, SIC (Strategic Investment Committee) Funding Tracker, Deal Desk Tracker, TL Operate Funding Dashboard, SPT (Strategic Pursuit Tracker), and related reporting outputs.
- § Oversee Jupiter and related CRM tools tagging, deal follow\-ups, and data hygiene, including coordination with pursuit teams on missing Jupiter IDs, legacy deals without outcomes, and qualifications updates.
- § Lead validation activities for finance decks and SIC (Strategic Investment Committee) monthly reports to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy across reporting sources.
- § Direct the identification, drafting, and review coordination of GO (Global Operate) and SIC (Strategic Investment Committee) win stories in partnership with pursuit teams.
- § Manage the win/loss survey process and associated tracker, ensuring timely follow\-ups and reliable reporting outputs.
- § Provide PMO support and coordination leadership for TOM (Target Operating Model) centralization initiatives, including Africa and Europe centralization workstreams.
- § Support and oversee Advisory – Operate workstream management, including LEP/LTP identification for top clients, leadership\-call participation, MOM preparation, action\-log governance, and tracker maintenance.
- § Oversee asset management reporting, ensuring current and in\-flight asset trackers are updated through effective coordination with regional POCs.
- § Drive standardization and continuous improvement across recurring reporting, communications, and governance workstreams through better templates, SOPs, automation opportunities, and quality controls.

- *QUALIFICATIONS**
Assistant manager with 5 \- 7 years of experience in supporting program management, PMO operations, business analysis, marketing communications or related business support activities.
- *Education and experience:**
§ Bachelor’s Degree/BE/MBA in marketing, communications, business administration, project management or related fields.
§ Certification in Project Management (PMP / CAPM, / PRINCE2 / CSM or equivalent).
§ Experience in supporting global stakeholders and managing operational or program workstreams in a matrixed environment.
§ Prior experience in team coordination or people management is preferred.
- *Required:**
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power Point, Word, and Excel.
§ Strong communication, writing, and editing skills.
§ High attention to detail, strong collaboration skills and strong relationship building/management skills needed.
§ Experience with project management practices, governance, status reporting, RAID tracking, and meeting management.
§ Ability to manage day\-to\-day operations while balancing strategic and execution\-oriented responsibilities.
§ Experience in maintaining documentation, SOPs, trackers, and reporting artifacts.
§ Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
§ Ability to review, refine, and quality\-check outputs prepared for leadership stakeholders.
§ Ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines and coordinate across pursuit, finance, operations, and regional stakeholders.

§ Practical knowledge of AI / Agentic AI solutions, including experience identifying, configuring, or deploying automation or intelligent agent use cases to improve efficiency, reduce operational redundancies, optimize resource utilization, and support cost optimization.
