The Principal Branding Engineer serves as a senior technical engineer within the Professional Services organization, responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex branding initiatives. The Principal Branding Engineer acts as a subject matter expert, mentors team members, establishes technical standards, and collaborates cross\-functionally to influence product and implementation strategies.

*Responsibilities**
Technical Support
Define and maintain reusable frameworks, templates, and components to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.
Provide technical oversight and guidance on branding implementations, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
Resolve advanced front\-end challenges involving styling, responsiveness, layouts, and integrations.
Solution Delivery
Partner with Implementation Managers to scope, estimate, and plan high\-complexity branding projects.
Ensure all career site implementations meet accessibility, performance, usability, and brand compliance standards.
Conduct design and code reviews to maintain the quality and integrity of deliverables.
Support escalations and provide technical expertise for critical customer initiatives.
Team Development \& Mentorship
Mentor Senior Branding Engineers and Branding Engineers to enhance their technical capabilities and delivery confidence.
Support onboarding, training, and competency development programs for the branding team.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Process Improvement \& Innovation
Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, methodologies, and delivery practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance branding capabilities and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development and evolution of branding standards and implementation frameworks.
Stakeholder \& Cross\-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Support, and Customer Success teams to align branding initiatives with business objectives.
Influence technical and design decisions across multiple teams and projects.
Represent the Branding function in strategic planning discussions and organizational forums.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and consultation.
*Qualifications**
8–12\+ years of progressive experience in front\-end development, branding engineering, or related technical disciplines.
Expert\-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles, with a strong focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
Hands\-on experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or Less, and a solid understanding of modern styling methodologies.
Extensive experience working with front\-end frameworks and component libraries, including Angular, Bootstrap, and Material UI.
Strong knowledge of Angular architecture, reusable component development, coding standards, and front\-end engineering best practices.
Proficiency with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
Working knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, with experience integrating front\-end applications with external services and platforms.
Demonstrated understanding of Agile development methodologies, sprint planning, and project delivery practices within cross\-functional environments.
Proven experience leading complex branding and front\-end initiatives, including mentoring engineers and providing technical direction to project teams.
Experience collaborating with Scrum Masters and cross\-functional stakeholders to communicate sprint progress, delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
Hands\-on experience reviewing and supporting Jenkins build and deployment pipelines, with an understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment best practices.
Strong analytical and problem\-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess technical complexity, estimate effort, identify implementation risks, and recommend effective solutions.
Ability to monitor delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance development efficiency, quality, and team productivity.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and build strong working relationships across teams.
