Principal Complier Engineer

• *About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced **Principal Compiler Engineer** to lead the development of the system software stack bridging custom silicon and high\-performance applications. This role focuses on compiler infrastructure, embedded firmware, Linux kernel optimization, and real\-time signal processing with sub\-millisecond latency requirements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering production\-grade LLVM compiler pipelines within semiconductor organizations, embedded system bring\-up, and formal verification for safety\-critical real\-time systems.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop custom **LLVM backend passes**, including SelectionDAG, GlobalISel, MIR optimizations, and register allocator enhancements.
• Build compiler fuzzing infrastructure and formal verification frameworks using **Alive2, SMT/SAT solvers**, and differential testing to ensure compiler correctness.
• Develop embedded device drivers and communication protocol stacks including:
• Work with **Linux Kernel**, RT\-PREEMPT, SCHED\_FIFO, kernel modules, and deterministic real\-time scheduling.
• Optimize applications across CPU and GPU architectures using profiling and debugging tools
• Author Software Requirements Documents (SRDs) and Software Design Documents (SDDs).
• Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
• Collaborate with hardware teams during silicon bring\-up, BSP development, and pre tape\-out activities.
