Principle Member of Technical Staff

Oracle is appointing a Principle Member of Technical Staff for its operations in Karnataka. In this capacity, you will engage in the design, development, and debugging of software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. Assisting in the definition and creation of software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems is central. You will provide technical leadership to fellow developers, specify and implement moderate changes to existing software architectures to adapt to new requirements, and manage diverse, complex tasks that necessitate independent judgment. Full competence in your technical domain is expected, with possible project lead responsibilities or supervision of junior staff. Qualifications include a BS or MS degree or equivalent experience, coupled with a minimum of 6 years in software engineering or a related field. This position is designated at Career Level IC4.
