About the Role

We are seeking an experienced **Product Architect** to lead the technical vision and architecture of a cloud\-native healthcare SaaS platform. This is a hands\-on leadership role where you will define system architecture, develop production\-ready code, and collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to build secure, scalable, and high\-performing applications.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing enterprise SaaS platforms, modern cloud architectures, and healthcare technology solutions while mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall product and system architecture.
• Design scalable, secure, and cloud\-native applications on AWS.
• Develop production\-quality code using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Lead architecture decisions across backend, frontend, mobile, data, and infrastructure.
• Create architecture documentation, technical standards, and design decisions.
• Mentor engineering teams through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Design secure APIs and healthcare integrations.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and production reliability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Participate in production support and incident response when required.

Required Qualifications

• 12\+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5\+ years of Product Architect, Solution Architect, or Principal Engineer experience.
• Strong experience designing enterprise SaaS products.
• Expert knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, CloudFront, Cognito, IAM, Aurora PostgreSQL, and related cloud services.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with React and modern web application development.
• Strong PostgreSQL database design and optimization experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience working in HIPAA\-compliant environments.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, or X12\.
• Experience building EHR/EMR or healthcare SaaS platforms.
• React Native and Expo experience.
• Experience with AI\-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of modern TypeScript frameworks and serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud\-native development.
