- *Job Summary**
As an Associate in Global Banking Data Hub (GBDH) Operations within Commercial and Investment Banking, you lead operationalized Product Ownership activities that translate strategic priorities into delivered outcomes. You partner with Product, Line of Business Information Owners, and Technology in an Agile environment to manage work from definition through implementation in a controlled, timely manner. You enable transparency and governance through backlog health, sprint execution, change documentation, and KPI reporting.
- *Job Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Product, LOB Information Owners, and Technology to execute a diverse, robust book of work.
- Maintain the GBDH backlog in JIRA, ensuring alignment to control standards and traceable delivery.
- Refine sprint lifecycle practices and supporting tools to improve delivery predictability and throughput.
- Forecast team capacity and manage sprint scope to optimize commitments and reduce delivery risk.
- Review and approve business\-submitted stories, engaging data architects when needed for alignment.
- Facilitate Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint Planning to ensure readiness and clarity.
- Coordinate UAT deliverables and implementation checklists to document controlled changes end\-to\-end.
- Communicate impacts, dependencies, and deliverables across geographically diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Identify production bugs and partner with stakeholders and technology to remediate efficiently.
- Produce and distribute change management metrics, KPIs, and status reporting on a timely cadence.
- Drive disciplined execution through governance, prioritization, and continuous improvement of delivery operations.
- *Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Hold a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate 5\+ years of project management experience with current understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Perform effectively in a Product Owner role within an Agile environment.
- Use JIRA proficiently to manage backlogs, stories, workflows, and reporting.
- Communicate clearly with the ability to engage geographically diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- Apply strong problem\-solving skills with high attention to detail and follow\-through.
- Execute change delivery with disciplined documentation, controls alignment, and implementation readiness.
- *Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Bring experience supporting data management, data governance, and analytics\-related initiatives.
- Leverage familiarity with business process tooling and operational efficiency programs in banking.
- Demonstrate comfort partnering with data architects and technology teams on story shaping and delivery.
- Operate confidently in fast\-paced, multi\-workstream environments with competing priorities.
- Strengthen stakeholder alignment through concise executive\-ready status updates and metrics.
- Improve delivery outcomes via continuous improvement of Agile rituals, tooling, and reporting.
- Support distributed teams effectively across time zones with proactive communication and planning.
