Production Engineer -Assembly-Fabrication Shop

· Execute daily and weekly production plans for the Assembly Shop and Fabrication Shop as per the production schedule and delivery commitments.

• Coordinate with PPC, Design, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor production progress against planned targets and take corrective action to minimize delays.
• Ensure availability of drawings, BOMs, materials, tools, fixtures, and manpower before starting production.

· Track job\-wise production status in both shops, coordinate the timely handover of inspected fabricated components for assembly, and report deviations to the reporting manager.

· Supervise Fabrication Shop activities such as cutting, fit\-up, welding, grinding, drilling, and structural assembly.

• Ensure fabrication work is carried out as per approved engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and welding requirements.
• Monitor weld quality, dimensional accuracy, fit\-up, and material traceability wherever required.
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, and machine operators to achieve production targets.
• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize scrap, rework, and material wastage.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department for inspection and rectification of fabrication defects.

· Supervise Assembly Shop activities, including mechanical assembly of machines, subassemblies, structures, and related components, as per approved drawings and assembly procedures.

• Ensure correct fitment of mechanical parts, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors, couplings, fasteners, and other components as applicable.
• Verify component availability and dimensional conformity before assembly.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, tightening, lubrication, and assembly clearances as specified.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Design, Quality, and Testing teams for machine integration, trial runs, and final inspection.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of assembly\-related issues.
• Allocate daily work to fitters, welders, helpers, and other production personnel.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and work performance.

Pay: ₹22,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
