Production Engineer

• *Job Summary:**

• *We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Production Supervisor to**

• *oversee our electrical panel assembly line.**

• *In this role, you will be responsible for managing day\-to\-day manufacturing activities,**

• *focusing on Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) electrical panels, specifically**

• *those featuring harmonic mitigation and filtration systems (such as APFC, AHF, and**

• *detuned reactor panels).**

• *You will lead a team of technicians, fitters, and wiremen to meet production targets**

• *while ensuring strict compliance with quality, engineering drawings, and safety**

• *standards.**

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• *1\. Production Planning \& Shop Floor Management**

• * Plan, organize, and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet**

• *project delivery timelines.**

• * Allocate tasks to wiremen, fabricators, and assembly technicians based on**

• *skills and workload.**

• * Monitor shop floor workflow to minimize idle time, reduce bottlenecks, and**

• *optimize resource utilization.**

• * Track production progress and provide regular status updates to the**

• *Production Manager.**

• *2\. Technical Assembly \& Quality Control**

• * Supervise the complete assembly process of LT/HT panels, including**

• *structural layout, busbar fabrication, component mounting, and wiring.**

• * Ensure all panels are built strictly according to Electrical Schematics, Single**

• *Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and Bill of**

• *Materials (BOM).**

• * Oversee specialized integration of harmonic filters, detuned reactors, Active**

• *Harmonic Filters (AHF), and Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC)**

• *systems.**

• * Maintain zero\-defect standards by conducting routine in\-process inspections**

• *before the panels move to the testing bay.**

• *3\. Team Leadership \& Workforce Management**

• * Manage and motivate a team of production technicians, assembly wiremen,**

• *and contract labourers.**

• * Conduct regular training on internal assembly procedures, busbar bending,**

• *torque limits, and precision wiring.**

• * Monitor operator productivity, manage attendance, and address floor\-level**

• *grievances or conflicts.**

• *4\. Inventory \& Material Coordination**

• * Coordinate with the stores and procurement teams to ensure timely**

• *availability of components (VCBs, ACBs, MCCBs, reactors, capacitors,**

• *controllers).**

• * Minimize material wastage, track scrap generation, and manage shop floor**

• *inventory accuracy.**

• * Identify component shortages early to prevent production line stoppages.**

• *5\. Health, Safety \& 5S Compliance**

• * Enforce rigorous workplace safety practices, ensuring all team members wear**

• *appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).**

• * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop floor environment by**

• *implementing 5S principles.**

• * Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of factory machinery, including**

• *busbar bending machines, shearing tools, and pneumatic equipment.**

• *Required Qualifications \& Skills**

• * Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Production Engineering**

• * Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands\-on production experience in an electrical**

• *panel manufacturing plant.**

• * Technical Knowledge: Expertise in LT/HT panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, and**

• *Harmonic Filter panels.**

• * Soft Skills: Strong leadership capability, effective communication, quick**

• *problem\-solving abilities, and time management**

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
