Production engineer

Position: Junior Engineer – Production

Job Purpose

To ensure effective execution and coordination of production activities in both morning \& night shifts.

Functional

Responsibilities

Shall be responsible for daily production plan compliance.

Manpower deployment to cater absenteeism/shortage on a shift\-to\-shift basis.

To get issued all required material from stores for meeting the daily production plan.

Shall be responsible for troubleshooting on machines.

FG transfer to store.

Efficiency feedback and reporting of major issues.

DHR report filling.

Upkeep of production shop floor (5S).

Support training and skill development for machine operators, sorters, and helpers.

Organize small training sessions.

Skill level assessment and improvement.

Maintain all required records.

Coordinate with the marketing team for pre\-dispatch inspection.

Competencies

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Polytechnic.

Knowledge of machines (SPM desirable).

Knowledge of nuts, bolts, pressure, and instruments like Vernier Caliper and Solenoid Valve.

Basic knowledge of packaging.

Understanding of business fundamentals.
