Production Manager (Sheet Metal \& Plastic Injection Moulding)

We are looking for an experienced **Production Manager** for our **IT Hardware Manufacturing Unit**.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete production operations of the Sheet Metal and Plastic Injection Moulding divisions.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Manage production supervisors, machine operators, and shop floor manpower efficiently.
• Ensure optimum machine utilization, productivity, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure implementation of SOPs, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with the Production Planning, Quality, Store, Purchase, and Maintenance departments for smooth production flow.
• Monitor production efficiency, rejection, rework, downtime, and material utilization.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present MIS to management.

Required Technical Knowledge

The candidate **must have strong hands\-on knowledge and production management experience** in the following machines and processes:

• Sheet Metal Fabrication Machines
• CNC Laser Cutting Machine
• CNC Press Brake (Bending Machine)
• Power Press Machines
• Laser Welding \& Spot Welding Machines
• Powder Coating Plant
• Plastic Injection Moulding Machines
• Engineering Drawing Reading \& GD\&T
• Production Planning \& Scheduling
• ERP/SAP\-based Production Management
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen \& TPM

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• **10–15 years** of experience in **Sheet Metal Fabrication and Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing**.
• Minimum **5 years** of experience in a **Production Manager** role.
• Experience in **IT Hardware Manufacturing, Computer Cabinets, Server Cabinets, Networking Racks, Electronic Enclosures, EMS, or ESDM Industry** will be highly preferred.
