Job Description

Nexus Aura Architects is looking for a skilled and dedicated **Project Engineer (Civil)** with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential and commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, practical site management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising construction activities, monitoring project progress, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day\-to\-day construction activities at project sites.
• Monitor residential and commercial building projects to ensure work progresses according to approved plans and schedules.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and site workers.
• Monitor construction quality, workmanship, and compliance with approved specifications.
• Track material requirements, consumption, and availability at project sites.
• Perform basic quantity calculations and maintain material records.
• Prepare daily or weekly site progress reports and communicate updates to management.
• Identify site\-related issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Ensure construction activities follow appropriate safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and completion within agreed timelines.

Eligibility \& Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
• Practical experience in residential and commercial building construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and material management.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.
• Ability to independently supervise construction activities.
• Knowledge of quality control and construction safety practices.
• Candidates based in or around Thiruvananthapuram will be preferred.
