JOB DESCRIPTION – PROJECT HEAD (CIVIL CONSTRUCTION)

Designation: Project Head – Civil Construction

Experience: 10–18 Years

Qualification: BE Civil Engineering / B.Tech Civil Engineering

Job Location: Bangalore

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced and result\-oriented Project Head to oversee and manage end\-to\-end civil construction projects, including high\-end residential apartments, luxury villas, and premium construction developments.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in project planning, execution, budgeting, team management, MEP coordination, quality control, and timely project delivery. The candidate must be capable of independently handling multiple projects from conceptualisation to final handover.

• *Key Roles \& Responsibilities**

• *1\. End\-to\-End Project Management**

\- Lead and manage complete civil construction projects, including residential apartments, luxury villas, and high\-end developments.

\- Oversee projects from initial planning, design coordination, execution, and commissioning to final handover.

\- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

\- Monitor overall project progress and provide regular updates to management.

• *2\. Civil Construction \& Site Execution**

\- Supervise all civil construction activities, including excavation, foundation, RCC, structural work, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing.

\- Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.

\- Monitor site activities and resolve technical issues and execution challenges.

\- Ensure effective utilisation of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources.

• *3\. MEP Coordination**

\- Handle and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities.

\- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, electrical engineers, plumbing contractors, and other technical teams.

\- Ensure proper integration of civil and MEP works without execution delays or design conflicts.

• *4\. Project Planning \& Budgeting**

\- Prepare project schedules, execution plans, resource plans, and budgets.

\- Monitor project costs, material consumption, and contractor expenses.

\- Identify potential project risks and implement corrective measures.

\- Ensure cost optimisation without compromising quality.

• *5\. Vendor \& Contractor Management**

\- Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.

\- Coordinate labour deployment, material procurement, and site requirements.

\- Negotiate with contractors and monitor their performance.

\- Ensure timely completion of assigned work packages.

• *6\. Quality Control \& Safety**

\- Maintain high construction quality standards across all projects.

\- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

\- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and construction standards.

\- Implement proper quality assurance and safety procedures.

• *7\. Team Leadership \& Management**

\- Lead project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and other project personnel.

\- Allocate responsibilities and monitor individual and team performance.

\- Conduct regular project review meetings.

\- Coordinate with management, architects, consultants, and internal departments.

• *8\. Documentation \& Reporting**

\- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, BOQs, estimates, and work schedules.

\- Review technical drawings, AutoCAD layouts, and construction documentation.

\- Prepare MIS reports and present project updates to management.

\- Ensure proper documentation of project milestones and handover activities.

• *Required Skills \& Competencies**

\- Strong knowledge of end\-to\-end civil construction and project execution.

\- Proven experience in high\-end residential apartments, villas, and premium construction projects.

\- Excellent understanding of structural drawings, architectural drawings, and MEP services.

\- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

\- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

\- Strong project planning, budgeting, and cost\-control skills.

\- Excellent contractor, vendor, and stakeholder management.

\- Strong leadership, decision\-making, and problem\-solving abilities.

\- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

• *Desired Candidate Profile**

\- BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.

\- 10–18 years of relevant experience in civil construction and project management.

\- Candidates with experience in luxury villas, premium apartments, and high\-end residential developments will be preferred.

\- Should have hands\-on experience in site execution, project planning, MEP coordination, and complete project delivery.

\- Must possess excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Key Expectation: The Project Head should independently take ownership of complete project execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, construction quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Pay: ₹100,000\.00 \- ₹200,000\.00 per month
