- *Role Summary**
Serve as primary technical lead responsible for reverse engineering Rocket terminal emulator macros or VB (excel based macros) and converting them into IBM PCOMM\-based automation solutions while preserving business functionality, performance, and output integrity.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- *Macro Analysis and Conversion**
- Analyze Rocket macro scripts and workflows.
- Reverse engineer business logic and process dependencies.
- Convert Rocket macros using:
- + VBA
+ VBScript
+ PowerShell
+ PCOMM HACL Automation
+ EHLLAPI Automation
+ COM Automation Solutions
- *Mainframe Automation Development**
* Automate
- + Host navigation
+ Screen recognition
+ Protected/unprotected fields
+ Function key processing
+ File transfers
+ Multi\-session operations
+ Batch processing
- *Reliability Engineering**
* Replace hard\-coded delays with
- + Screen\-ready checks
+ Cursor\-position validation
+ Host synchronization techniques

* Implement

* Deep understanding of
