We are seeking an experienced **Project Manager – Civil** to lead and manage end\-to\-end execution of civil construction projects at IIT Bhubaneswar. The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering infrastructure projects within defined scope, quality, cost, and timelines while ensuring compliance with safety and statutory standards.
- Lead execution of civil construction projects including academic buildings, residential complexes, utilities, and campus infrastructure.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review structural and architectural drawings and resolve technical issues on\-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental norms, and statutory approvals.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and project reporting to management.
- Manage contract administration including billing, measurement, variation orders, and claims.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials in coordination with procurement teams.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure productivity and discipline.
- Maintain project documentation including DPRs, MIS reports, and handover records.
- Drive project completion and handover with all statutory and quality certifications.
- *Required Qualifications**
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- PMP / equivalent project management certification (preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in civil construction project management
- Experience in institutional/large campus projects preferred (IITs, universities, government infrastructure)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, BOQ, tendering, and contracts
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle multiple contractors and large\-scale project execution
- Good understanding of safety standards and quality control systems
Pay: ₹622,584\.67 \- ₹1,200,000\.00 per year
