• *Job Overview**

Comed Chemicals Limited is looking for an experienced and dynamic **Project Procurement Engineer** to handle end\-to\-end sourcing and purchasing for our upcoming new projects. The ideal candidate will possess a multidisciplinary understanding of **Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering materials** and services to seamlessly manage vendor relations, cost negotiations, and timely delivery at our corporate office in Vadodara.

• *Key Responsibilities**

· **Cross\-Disciplinary Sourcing:** Manage the end\-to\-end procurement process for all New Project requirements, covering Mechanical (piping, HVAC, machinery), Electrical (cables, switchgear, panels), and Civil (cement, steel, structural components) materials.

· **Vendor Management:** Identify, evaluate, and onboard high\-quality vendors and contractors; maintain a robust vendor database for project agility.

· **Tendering \& Negotiation:** Draft comprehensive Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluate technical and commercial bids, and aggressively negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize project budgets.

· **Purchase Order (PO) Execution:** Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders and Work Orders in compliance with company policies and project timelines.

· **Coordination \& Expediting:** Work closely with project management teams, site engineers, and logistics providers to ensure zero delays in material dispatch and site delivery.

· **Quality Assurance Support:** Coordinate with technical teams to ensure supplied materials strictly match engineering specifications and quality standards.

· **Billing \& Documentation:** Verify vendor invoices, clear payment milestones, and maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, indents, and transit documents.

• *Qualifications \& Requirements**

· **Education:** B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

· **Experience:** **Minimum 3 to 4 years** of core experience in project procurement (experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial plant projects is highly preferred).

· **Technical Skills:** Strong familiarity with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and raw material standards across civil, electrical, and mechanical domains. Profitability tracking tools and ERP/SAP experience are a major plus.

· **Soft Skills:** Excellent negotiation tactics, strong commercial acumen, prompt decision\-making ability, and fluent communication skills.

· **Location:** Must be local to Vadodara or willing to relocate immediately.
