- *Job Description – Purchase Manager**
- *Position:** Purchase Manager
- *Department:** Procurement / Purchase

- *Reporting To:** Director
- *Job Summary**
The Purchase Manager will be responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, products, and services required for the company's projects and operations. The role involves vendor management, cost optimization, timely procurement, quality assurance, and maintaining procurement records.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- *1\. Procurement \& Purchasing**
- Identify and procure materials, products, and services as per project and operational requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers for the best commercial terms.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement accordingly.
- *2\. Vendor Management**
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct vendor negotiations and finalize contracts and agreements.
- Maintain an approved vendor database.
- *3\. Cost Control \& Budget Management**
- Ensure procurement within approved budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to achieve competitive procurement.
- *4\. Coordination \& Follow\-up**
- Coordinate with project, design, accounts, and operations teams for procurement planning.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply\-related issues.
- Manage urgent procurement requirements for ongoing projects.
- *5\. Documentation \& Compliance**
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports and MIS as required by management.
- *Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- *Experience**
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience in Interior Fit\-out, Furniture, Construction, or Design Industry preferred.
- *Skills Required**
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and procurement software.
- Strong analytical and cost\-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- *Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Cost savings achieved through negotiations.
- Timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Vendor performance and quality compliance.
- Inventory optimization and cost control.
- Accuracy of procurement documentation and reporting.
- *CTC:** As per company standards and candidate experience.
- *Joining:** Immediate / As per notice period.
Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹600,000\.00 per year
