• *About the Role**

You will be responsible for building and scaling production\-grade AI\-powered platforms focused on image understanding, scene reconstruction, computer vision, and automated media generation.

This is a backend\-heavy role requiring expertise in **FastAPI, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, cloud infrastructure, and AI model integration**. You will work closely with AI/ML Engineers, Frontend Developers, and DevOps teams to deliver high\-performance, scalable solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using **Python \& FastAPI**
• Build modular, maintainable, and well\-documented systems
• Develop asynchronous processing pipelines for AI workloads
• Design and manage distributed job queues using **Celery, Kafka, RQ**, or similar technologies
• Optimize and manage long\-running, compute\-intensive, and GPU\-based workloads
• Work with **PostgreSQL**, Redis, and cloud storage solutions (AWS S3 or equivalent)
• Deploy, integrate, and optimize machine learning models in production
• Improve inference performance through batching, caching, and throughput optimization
• Ensure reliability through monitoring, fault tolerance, retries, and system observability
• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver scalable AI\-driven applications

• *Required Skills**

• **3–8 years** of hands\-on Python development experience
• Strong experience with **FastAPI** and RESTful API development
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and scalable backend architectures
• Experience with **Redis** and task queue systems such as Celery, Kafka, or RQ
• Strong experience with **PostgreSQL**
• **Docker experience is mandatory**
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as **AWS, GCP, or Azure**
• Good understanding of system design, microservices, and distributed systems
• Strong debugging, problem\-solving, and analytical skills

• *Preferred Skills**

• Experience working with **AI/ML applications and model deployment**
• Knowledge of Computer Vision frameworks/models such as **YOLO, DETR, SAM**, etc.
• Experience deploying and scaling ML models in production environments
• Understanding of GPU workloads and performance optimization
• Experience with image processing, video processing, or real\-time systems
• Familiarity with **Kubernetes**
