Python Automation Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Lead to own the reliability, automation, and performance of our platform and supporting services. This role requires deep expertise in cloud operations, configuration management, monitoring integrations, and automation across multi\-cloud and microservices environments

• *Your future duties and responsibilities**

Job Description

. Lead deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of core services

. Manage and maintain production environments ensuring high availability and stability

. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Ruby (Ruby on Rails where applicable)

. Own Kubernetes\-based microservices (Helm deployments, scaling, upgrades)

. Manage databases including MongoDB, MariaDB, and Redis

. Develop and manage Chef cookbooks for both Windows and Linux environments

. Drive automation using Chef, Ansible, and Python\-based frameworks

. Build automation for alert ingestion, normalization, and event processing

. Implement auto\-healing and self\-recovery systems

. Monitor application performance and reliability across services

. Manage multi\-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, GCP qnd OCI

. Drive cloud cost optimization and reporting initiatives

. Support client onboarding with infrastructure setup and optimization

. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices where applicable

. Lead troubleshooting of production issues and ensure rapid resolution

. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

. Improve system resilience through retries, error handling, and failover strategies

. Define and drive reliability improvements and platform stability

. Manage RBAC (Role\-Based Access Control) policies across systems and platforms

. Ensure secure and compliant access management practices

. Support services built with Python, Java, and GraphQL

. Work with GraphQL schemas for APM and monitoring integrations

. Collaborate with development teams on microservices architecture improvements

Required Qualifications

. 7–12\+ years in DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles

. Strong experience with Python automation scripting and Ruby On Rails

. Hands\-on expertise in Chef (cookbooks) and/or Ansible

. Deep understanding of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)

. Strong experience in Kubernetes (Helm) and microservices environments

. Experience managing MongoDB, MariaDB and Redis

. Proven experience in multi\-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)

. Solid understanding of RBAC, security, and access control systems
