Job Summary

SparkBrains Private Limited is seeking a talented **Python Developer** with **2\+ years of hands\-on experience** in Django to join our growing tech team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing clean, efficient code and enjoy working in a collaborative development environment. Experience with **FastAPI** or **Flask** is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using **Django**
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members
• Develop, optimize, and maintain **RESTful APIs**
• Integrate third\-party APIs and external services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to project planning

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in **Python** and its core libraries
• **2\+ years of hands\-on experience with Django**
• Solid understanding of **REST APIs** and web services
• Experience with **ORMs**, authentication, middleware, and Django admin customization
• Knowledge of relational databases like **PostgreSQL** or **MySQL**
• Experience with **Git** for version control
• Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with **FastAPI** and/or **Flask**
• Knowledge of **Docker, Postman, Celery, and Redis**
• Basic understanding of **JavaScript, HTML, and CSS**
• Exposure to **CI/CD pipelines** and deployment processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as **AWS or GCP**

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• **Minimum 2 years of experience** in Python web development
