QA Automation Engineer

• *QA Automation Engineer \| Selenium (Java) \| Playwright \| API Testing**

• *Job Summary**

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with **3–6 years** of experience in Automation and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands\-on experience with **Selenium (Java), Playwright, API Testing (Postman \& REST Assured), and Agile methodologies**. Exposure to AI\-assisted testing tools is an added advantage.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Java) and Playwright.
• Design and execute API automation tests using Postman and REST Assured.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Execute regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Perform manual testing and UI validation when required.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Agile teams.
• Contribute to automation stability, test coverage, and QA best practices.

• *Required Skills**

• **3–6 years** of experience in **QA Automation** and Manual Testing.
• Strong hands\-on experience with **Selenium using Java**.
• Experience with **Playwright automation**.
• Solid understanding of **API Testing** using **Postman** and **REST Assured**.
• Good Java programming skills.
• Experience in manual testing, defect reporting, and UI validation.
• Familiarity with Git and basic **CI/CD** execution.
• Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments**.

• *Nice to Have**

• Exposure to Cucumber **(BDD Framework)**.
• Experience with **Cypress automation**.
• Knowledge of cross\-browser testing.
• Familiarity with AI\-assisted tools such as **GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Claude, KaneAI, Testim, Mabl, Functionize, or TestRigor.**
