We are looking for an QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and building reliable testing frameworks. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure our platforms maintain high standards of performance, stability, and user experience.
- Strong experience with Playwright for web and mobile web automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred) or Java with strong OOP concepts.
- Experience in API testing and automation using Playwright API, Postman, or Rest Assured.
- Hands\-on experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) and reusable automation architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Git, version control, and code review practices.
- Expertise in test reporting, execution analysis, defect investigation, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Experience testing responsive web and mobile web applications.
- Strong understanding of cross\-browser testing, dynamic locators, synchronization handling, and flaky test stabilization.
- Experience working on e\-commerce platforms, including end\-to\-end automation of cart, checkout, and payment flows.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and release management processes.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot failures and distinguish between application defects, environment issues, and automation stability concerns.
- 1\-2 years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Shopify and/or e\-commerce domain experience (preferred).
- Can independently debug and investigate failures.
- Takes ownership of quality and release readiness.
- Builds reliable, maintainable automation solutions.
- Continuously improves quality through engineering best practices.
- Thinks proactively about risk, coverage, and user experience.
