QA Engineer(Manual Testing)

Role Summary

We need a manual tester to test our web applications over a 6\-month contract. You will execute test cases, find and report defects, and help ensure each release works well across browsers and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and write and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Do cross\-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and responsive testing.
• Validate forms, input validations, navigation, login and sessions, and user roles.
• Use browser DevTools to check console errors and network calls.
• Log defects in Jira (or a similar tool) with clear steps and evidence, then retest fixes.
• Do basic API testing with Postman.
• Share regular test progress updates and support release verification.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the bug life cycle.
• Knowledge of basic test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning).
• Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
• Basic knowledge of Postman, browser DevTools, and HTTP status codes.
• Basic knowledge of Jira or similar tools.
• Good communication and a quick learner.

Good to Have

• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Awareness of Agile/Scrum.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month
