About the Role

We are looking for a detail\-oriented QA Engineer / Quality Test Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case preparation, bug reporting, and quality assurance processes.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before release.

This is a Work From Office (WFO) position. Work From Home (WFH) is not available.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.

Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.

Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.

Conduct functional, UI/UX, integration, smoke, sanity, and regression testing.

Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards.

Collaborate with developers to resolve defects efficiently.

Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.

Validate APIs using tools like Postman (basic knowledge preferred).

Maintain testing documentation and provide regular testing reports.

Required Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).

Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.

Experience testing web applications and mobile applications (Android/iOS).

Ability to create detailed test cases, checklists, and test reports.

Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools.

Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience using project management tools such as Jira, or Task Management.

Basic understanding of Git or GitLab.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Familiarity with cross\-browser and cross\-device testing.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or a related field.

Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
