QA Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented **QA Intern** to join our software development team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. This internship provides hands\-on experience with manual testing, bug reporting, test case creation, and software quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and API\-based applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Conduct functional, usability, UI, compatibility, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, and QA review meetings.
• Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before release.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Understanding of manual testing techniques.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Basic knowledge of browser developer tools.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright is a plus.

Educational Qualification

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
• Final\-year students are encouraged to apply.
