In this role, you will lead a team of 6 QA Engineers, working directly with US\-based clients. We are an **"AI\-First"** organization—we heavily invest in tools like ChatGPT and Codex. - *Team Leadership \& US Client Delivery**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 QA engineers, assigning daily tasks and ensuring high productivity.
- Report daily to the Project Manager and CTO on team progress, test coverage, and release health.
- Work directly with US\-based clients, occasionally accommodating flexible/extended working hours to overlap with client meetings and critical deliveries.
- *AI\-First Testing \& Full\-Stack Automation**
- **Embrace AI:** Utilize ChatGPT, Codex, and other AI tools to write scripts, generate test data, and optimize testing processes. Mentor the team to adopt an AI\-first mindset.
- **Drive Automation:** Design and implement full\-stack automation test plans utilizing **Playwright** (Frontend) and **Pytest** (Backend).
- **CI/CD Integration:** Build and ingest automated testing into our CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket or Git\-based tools.
- Define comprehensive QA processes, testing strategies, and quality standards for web and mobile applications.
- *Process \& Quality Assurance**
- Identify, track, and report bugs using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Conduct API Testing using Postman (or similar tools) and oversee Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing.
- Review requirements, provide precise test estimations, and participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of testing activities and reports.
- *What We Are Looking For**
- **Experience:** 5\+ years of QA experience, with proven experience leading and managing a testing team.
- **Tech Stack:** Strong hands\-on experience with modern automation frameworks—specifically **Playwright** and **Pytest**. *(Experience in Selenium/Cypress is great, but you must be ready to transition to our stack).*
- **DevOps Knowledge:** Proven ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Git, etc.).
- **Language Skills:** **Must speak both Tamil and English fluently.** Must have strong reading and writing skills in English for client communication and documentation.
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- **Adaptability:** A strong willingness to learn, adopt AI tools, and continuously improve team efficiency.

- *Work Schedule \& Saturday Flexibility** Please note our weekend schedule: the **2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month are holidays**, while the remaining Saturdays (1st, 3rd, and 5th) are regular working days. While no extra allowance is provided for working Saturdays, we maintain a highly flexible environment on these days. To support your weekend commute, we allow flexible timings—such as early departures or late arrivals—so you can easily catch your bus or train without any stress.
Pay: ₹900,000\.00 \- ₹1,100,000\.00 per year
