Job Description
**Project Quality Plan (PQP):** Develops and implements overall site\-specific quality management plans.
**Method Statements \& ITPs:** Prepares and reviews Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) alongside step\-by\-step method statements for every construction activity.
**Standard Compliance:** Ensures all ongoing work adheres to international standards (e.g., ISO 9001\), local building codes, and contract specifications.
**Training:** Provides quality awareness training to the site and labor teams prior to the commencement of new tasks.
Quality Control (QC) \& Inspections
**Material Testing \& Approval:** Conducts rigorous inspections of incoming construction materials (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube crushing tests, steel reinforcement checks) to ensure they meet approved submittals.
**Daily Site Inspections:** Regularly inspects active work (e.g., brickwork, plastering, waterproofing) to ensure compliance with 'for\-construction' drawings.
**Requests for Information (RFIs) \& Inspections:** Coordinates with project consultants and clients to raise and clear physical inspection requests.
**Equipment Calibration:** Ensures all measurement, surveying, and testing instruments are regularly calibrated for accuracy.
**Technical:** Mastery of RCC, structural steel, and industrial/commercial flooring.
**Software:** Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera P6\.
**Soft Skills:** Negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision\-making under pressure.
