• *QA/QC Engineer – Construction**

• *Job Summary**

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, drawings, and regulatory requirements. The role involves implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, conducting inspections, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining documentation to ensure successful project delivery.

• *Key Responsibilities1\. Quality Assurance (QA)**

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection \& Test Plans (ITP), and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to quality management systems (e.g., International Organization for Standardization standards such as ISO 9001\).
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate third\-party inspections.
• Review subcontractor quality documents and procedures.

• *2\. Quality Control (QC)**

• Perform site inspections and material inspections.
• Verify materials delivered to site meet project specifications.
• Monitor concrete works, structural works, finishing works, MEP works, etc.
• Ensure proper testing of materials (soil, concrete, steel, asphalt, etc.).
• Raise Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and test reports.

• *3\. Documentation \& Reporting**

• Maintain quality records, checklists, inspection reports, and test certificates.
• Review shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Prepare quality reports for project management.
• Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.

• *4\. Compliance \& Standards**

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor compliance with Indian standards .
• Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• *Qualifications \& Requirements**

• Bachelor’s / Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–8 years of experience in construction QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with ISO quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Certification in QA/QC or ISO Auditor (preferred).
