QA/QC Engineer (Pressure Vessels - ASME Standards - Oil & Gas)

We are looking for **QC Documentation Engineer** to join our Quality team in the Valve / Strainer Manufacturing Industry. The candidate will be involved in quality inspection, documentation, and testing of pressure vessels and industrial strainers manufactured for the Oil \& Gas and process industries.

• *Qualification:** Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production or related field

**Key Responsibilities**

\- Perform in\-process and final inspections of pressure vessels, industrial strainers, and fabricated components.

\- Assist in quality inspections in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1, ASME B31\.3, applicable ASTM standards, and project specifications.

\- Review material test certificates (MTCs) and verify material grades, traceability, and compliance with approved drawings.

\- Inspect fabrication activities, including fit\-up, welding, dimensional checks, and visual inspection.

\- Coordinate hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing where applicable, and other required quality tests.

\- Assist in coordinating third\-party inspections (TPI) with agencies such as BV, SGS, and DNV.

\- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, ITPs, quality checklists, test reports, and manufacturing quality records.

\- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, customer specifications, and quality procedures.

\- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Projects teams to resolve quality\-related issues.

\- Support internal quality audits and corrective/preventive actions.

**Requirements**

\- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

\- Freshers are encouraged to apply.

\- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, fabrication, welding, and material specifications.

\- Familiarity with ASME codes and ASTM material standards is an advantage.

\- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and technical documentation.

\- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.

\- Candidates interested in developing a career in industrial manufacturing quality assurance are preferred.
