Developing and Implementing Quality Plans
- **Creating QA/QC procedures:**Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control procedures, including inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- **Reviewing project documentation:**Evaluating project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to ensure they align with quality standards.
- **Monitoring compliance:**Ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
- **Conducting audits:**Performing regular audits of construction processes and materials to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conducting Inspections and Tests:
- **Performing on\-site inspections:**Inspecting materials, workmanship, and completed work to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- **Witnessing testing:**Overseeing and witnessing various testing procedures, such as material tests (e.g., concrete, steel, soil) and performance tests.
- **Documenting findings:**Maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, and any non\-conformances identified.
- Addressing Non\-Conformities:
- **Identifying non\-conformances:**Identifying and documenting any deviations from approved plans, specifications, or quality standards.
- **Investigating root causes:**Working with relevant teams to determine the underlying causes of non\-conformances.
- **Developing corrective actions:**Recommending and implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve non\-conformances and prevent future occurrences.
- **Tracking non\-conformance reports:**Monitoring the status of non\-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensuring timely closure of issues.
- **Working with project teams:**Collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality\-related issues.
- **Participating in meetings:**Attending project meetings to discuss quality concerns, review progress, and coordinate activities.
