QA & QC Manager – Buildings (Civil & Structural)

• *JOB SUMMARY**

CUBE invites applications from postgraduate Structural Engineers of proven distinction to join its QA/QC team as QA \& QC Manager – Buildings (Civil \& Structural). The ideal candidate shall bring demonstrated expertise in structural quality assurance and the construction of institutional, commercial and high\-rise buildings, underpinned by sound technical judgment and professional rigour. The selected candidate shall be entrusted with safeguarding strict adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks and applicable statutory codes across the design review, construction and inspection phases of the project lifecycle.

• *QUALIFICATION \& EXPERIENCE**

• Qualification. M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
• Experience. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

• *Technical Competencies**

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building construction practices (RCC, steel and composite).
• Working knowledge of NBC, IS and BIS codes and relevant statutory requirements.
• Hands\-on experience in quality control of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing and finishing works.
• Familiarity with NDT and testing methods, and with green\-building and safety practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and structural review tools.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and report\-writing skills.

• *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The QA \& QC Manager shall lead quality surveillance of building works (civil and structural) for CUBE's PMC / TPQA / project leadership team, including:

• Developing, implementing and monitoring the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Inspection \& Test Plans (ITPs), checklists and quality management systems for building works.
• Reviewing structural and architectural drawings, structural calculations, BOQs, specifications, material submittals and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitoring and inspecting excavation, foundations (raft, pile, footing), RCC and steel superstructure, post\-tensioned slabs, masonry, plastering and finishing works against approved specifications.
• Overseeing quality of concrete (mix design, batching, placing, curing, cube testing), reinforcement (cover, lapping, anchorage), formwork and falsework, and structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Inspecting waterproofing, flooring, façade, glazing, joinery, painting and external development works, and approving material samples and mock\-ups.
• Conducting quality audits, site inspections, NDT (rebound hammer, UPV, core tests) and technical assessments at various stages of project execution.
• Verifying compliance with the National Building Code (NBC), IS codes (including IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, IS 13920\) and other applicable standards.
• Identifying quality deviations, issuing Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and recommending and tracking closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, MEP teams and contractors to resolve technical and interface issues.
• Preparing inspection reports, quality assurance documentation, as\-built records and management\-level summaries.
• Leading, mentoring and evaluating the QA/QC team deployed across building sites, and escalating critical technical or interface risks where required.

Pay: ₹60,000\.00 \- ₹90,000\.00 per month
