- *Position Summary \& Objective**
The QA Software Engineer monitors every phase of the software development process to ensure that the design and software adheres to company standards. This role executes exploratory and automated tests to assess software quality and meet the release target dates by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and product teams or leaders.
- 3 years of experience in manual testing and somewhat exposure of automation testing
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
- Exposure of writing clear test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing
- Understanding of Jira/Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of API testing with tools like postman/swagger
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of NoSQL will be add\-on.
- Basic knowledge of Selenium, Java
- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Serves as a point of contact for escalations and crucial stakeholder requests. Defines and ensures SLAs.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT or related field.
- 3 years’ experience in managing high performing teams and people leadership skills.
- Experience in managing a globally distributed team is a plus.

- Any technical certification preferred. i.e., Cloud, Data.
- *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high\-quality, enterprise\-class software on\-time and of high quality.
- Knowledgeable in the software development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of source control systems like Git.
- Experience working in Agile\-oriented teams, especially SCRUM or Kanban.
- Possess good communication skills in English, both written and verbal (for non\-English speaking countries).
- Very strong problem\-solving skills and algorithm knowledge.
