Job Summary

We are looking for a detail\-oriented QA Engineer with experience in Manual and Automation Testing of mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of our mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.

The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in test case preparation, test execution, bug tracking, regression testing, and mobile automation testing. The candidate will work closely with developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to identify issues and ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• *Manual Testing**

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
• Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, UI/UX, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
• Validate application workflows, navigation, forms, APIs, and data handling.
• Perform positive, negative, boundary, and edge\-case testing.
• Identify, document, track, and report bugs using bug\-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• Conduct compatibility testing across different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
• Perform basic performance, usability, and network connectivity testing.

• *Automation Testing**

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications.
• Perform mobile automation testing using tools such as Appium.
• Use Selenium or other relevant automation frameworks where applicable.
• Design and maintain reusable automation test scripts.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and regression test cases.
• Integrate automation test execution into CI/CD pipelines where required.

• *API Testing**

• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, and error handling.
• Verify backend integration and data consistency between mobile applications and APIs.

• *Reporting \& Collaboration**

• Maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and bug reports.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
• Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, and release validation.
• Ensure application quality before production releases.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Mobile Application Testing.
• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Hands\-on experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of Mobile Automation Testing using Appium.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium and automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with bug\-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and client\-server architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

• *Good to Have**

• Experience with Appium using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
• Experience with Android Studio and Xcode.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with Firebase Crashlytics or similar crash\-reporting tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience testing applications involving third\-party API integrations and payment workflows.
