QA Tester – Banking / Financial Services (Trading Domain)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with a strong background in banking and financial services testing, preferably within trading platforms and capital markets. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience with FIX Protocol, end\-to\-end testing, API testing, database validation, and test automation tools.

The role involves working in an Agile environment with cross\-functional teams to ensure application quality, seamless releases, and compliance with testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and testability gaps.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, regression suites, and end\-to\-end test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, API, database, and end\-to\-end testing.
• Test trading workflows involving order management, market/client connectivity, and execution management systems.
• Validate FIX Protocol messages and investigate transaction and connectivity issues.
• Prepare and maintain test data across test environments.
• Log, track, investigate, and retest defects using Jira and test management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and support teams to resolve defects.
• Conduct post\-release validation and support smooth production transitions.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to regression testing improvements.
• Maintain accurate test evidence, documentation, and quality reports in line with audit requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands\-on experience with **FIX Protocol is mandatory**.
• Experience in QA testing within banking, financial services, trading, or capital markets.
• Understanding of order management systems, market connectivity, and execution management systems.
• Experience with end\-to\-end trading workflows across interconnected applications.
• API testing experience and the ability to analyse JSON and XML files.
• Database testing and SQL knowledge.
• Scripting experience in C\#, Java, VB.NET, or another programming language.
• Experience with end\-to\-end testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca or RPA\-based testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, QA methodologies, and Jira.
• Experience testing in\-house developed and vendor\-based applications.

Good to Have

• Experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Exposure to test management tools such as Xray.
• Experience in test automation, regression frameworks, and continuous quality improvement.

Pay: ₹2,000,000\.00 \- ₹3,000,000\.00 per month
