Job Description – Quality Control Engineer (Electrical \& Electronics)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and technically sound Quality Control Engineer to handle incoming material inspection, electrical and electronic component testing, dimensional verification, and quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished products meet the required quality standards and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming quality inspections of raw materials, electrical components, and purchased parts.
• Perform visual, cosmetic, dimensional, and functional inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Inspect and identify electrical and electronic components such as diodes, transistors, transformers, and switchgear.
• Perform dimensional measurements using precision instruments, including Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Microscopes.
• Carry out material testing, component identification, and verification against purchase orders and approved samples.
• Ensure product quality through accurate inspection and testing procedures.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non\-conformities and coordinate with relevant departments for corrective action.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation as per ISO 9001 standards.
• Ensure adherence to established Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

Required Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components and their working principles.
• Knowledge of circuit diagrams and engineering schematics.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and Quality Assurance (QA).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Good analytical, observation, and problem\-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Incoming Material Inspection.
• Freshers with sound technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with practical exposure to electrical/electronic component testing and inspection will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
